Of his Rondo series, Beasley has described these works as “sort of a happy group of sculptures because they’re very large. And yet, they are not blocking clouds and sky and trees and kind of muscling nature out of its way. They bring nature into it. And people respond to them that way. That’s been very, very rewarding because it’s also a little happier feeling, a lighter feeling, lots of movement. Allowing them to be large pieces outdoors, they are good neighbors to nature.”
